Chargeback

Chargeback is the process by which a credit card payment is reversed by the customer, i.e. cancelled. Reasons can be fraudulent transactions, unauthorised payments or problems with the goods. The chargeback process is usually time-consuming and can be expensive for merchants, especially if they cannot provide the necessary evidence.
