Prepayment with secupay
Advance payment is the lowest-risk payment method for the merchant. The merchant does not ship the goods ordered by the customer until it has received the money. On the other hand, this payment method is unpopular with customers for two reasons: First, it requires a lot of trust in the online store, as the customer entrusts the store with their money without having received the goods.
With secupay, you speed up the prepayment process because the customer can use the SEPA QR code (giro code) for error-free transfers from the banking app and the incoming payments are already automatically assigned on a notification basis. This means that the goods can usually be shipped on the banking day following the order.
Since the transfer is made to a secupay escrow account, the customer is better protected against fraudsters.
