Nougat 4.0: Viba sweets uses electronic shopping vouchers to reload secupay

The Thuringian confectionery manufacturer has been producing nougat, marzipan, dragées, high-quality chocolates and emotional gift ideas for every occasion for 130 years. In all Viba and HEILEMANN shops that belong to the Viba Group, customers and employees can pay with electronic vouchers from secupay.
The challenge
In the confectionery business, vouchers make an important contribution to sales - this is also the case at Viba sweets. The medium-sized company from Thuringia was therefore looking for a new, efficient POS voucher solution for its 40 shops. A prerequisite for the cooperation with a new service provider was not least the smooth and uncomplicated migration of the voucher cards already in circulation from another operator into the new system.
The solution and cooperation
Viba opted for secupay and the electronic voucher system "secucard". The rechargeable vouchers in practical cheque card format are available in all Viba and HEILEMANN branches and are individually topped up there directly at the card terminal. Credit can therefore be redeemed anywhere in the Viba Shops, HEILEMANN Shops, in the café or during a visit to the Viba Nougat World of Experience. The vouchers are also particularly suitable as gifts. The old voucher stocks were successfully transferred to the new system. Further plus points of the solution:
- Quick start: As an alternative to full cash register integration, the loading and redemption of vouchers at Viba is carried out via a terminal app developed by secupay, which has been installed on all POS card readers.
- Full online access: Viba employees can view all voucher transactions, manually load or unload cards or export data to other applications via the online retailer portal "secuoffice". Voucher holders can check credit at viba.secucard.com using the card number.
