ZAG-compliant payment processing of digital cashback campaigns
The challenge
As a conversational retail and WhatsApp marketing solution (SaaS), SLACE supports retailers and brands in the implementation of cashback campaigns via social media channels. Consumers can easily take part in cashback campaigns using a QR code and quickly request credits digitally via their favourite messenger service, for example WhatsApp, Telegram or Facebook. SLACE was looking for a reliable and trustworthy payment service provider for the ZAG-compliant processing of payout amounts to campaign participants.
The solution and cooperation
For more than two years, secupay AG has been one of the most renowned payment players in the cashback business in German-speaking countries. SLACE decided in favour of secupay due to its extensive experience and very simple payment processing options.
SLACE uses a common interface to initiate all payouts to cashback participants. This is used to transfer the payee data, the corresponding payout amounts and the intended use. As a German payment institution with Bafin authorisation, secupay ensures automated and legally compliant payout at the desired time. Thanks to SLACE and secupay, end consumers can process cashback campaigns completely digitally with just a few clicks, e.g. via WhatsApp, and receive their credit promptly. In addition to cashback campaigns, this setup has also proven its worth for product recall campaigns.
